Performance Gymnastics

Ages 3 – 5
The love of performance starts young, and Birons helps your little star flourish with a strong foundation in technique and discipline that is brought to life through a positive and fun atmosphere! Multiple styles are offered, as well as summer clinics and camps that fit your schedule!
Kindergarten through 12th Grade
At it’s heart, Birons is a place for boys and girls to build confidence, challenge themselves, and grow through the opportunity of performance. In addition, we utilize our unique facility and incomparable staff to teach dance and performance in a way that no other dance school can. The Birons School Age Dance Classes fully embody this mission, offering a wide variety of dance styles in classes and clinics that are divided by skill.
Competitive Athletes Only
For our competitive gymnastics athletes who want to experience the magic of costumes, choreography, dance, rhythmic arts, and the spotlight, Birons Team Performance is the bridge program for athletes wishing to one day perform on the Birons Show Team of Houston. All enrollees must be placed by individual evaluation.
Artistic Arts
3 - 18 years
The beauty and grace of the artistic arts builds confidence in each of our athletes. The unique skills and apparatuses with which we teach develops full-body control, flexibility, rock-solid core strength, hand-to-eye-coordination, and more. Classes offered for all levels!
Ages 6-12
As unique as it is beautiful, rhythmic performance is a incredible combination of dance, gymnastics, cirque arts and more that all comes together into one impressive display. Athletes are required to take one additional Birons class per week in the disciplines taught.
5 – 17 YEARS
Swinging and flying through the air, upside down and all around, our Aerial Arts program focuses on the fundamental, intermediate, and advanced skills for Silks, Lyra, Trapese, and more. Classes are operated at a lower ratio than our normal recreational sports, and all curriculum is certified through the nationally accredited DragonFly Aerial company, and all staff are trained and rectified annually.
Ages 3-17
Have you ever learned dance on a trampoline? Movement, choreography, rhythm and style – the Birons dance programs offer your dancer the opportunity to both learn the fundamentals in a variety of styles, while also building the core skill set to transfer those skills to our other disciplines. No other studio offers the unique facilities and inter-sport integration that Birons has!
Birons Show Team of Houston
The top-of-the-top for Birons performers! With over two decades of national and international acclaim, the Birons Show Team of Houston performs both locally throughout the year, at both for-profit and non-profit events. Every 4 years the team travels internationally for the World Gymnaestrada (http://www.fig-gymnastics.com/site/page/view?id=236). The Birons Show Team of Houston is led by Head Coach, Monica Flores-Moreleon, and holds annual auditions each summer.
